Dentons parts ways with ally in Ghana

July 21, 2014 Dentons has parted way with its associate firm in Ghana - Bentsi-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah - after 12 years working together.

A statement from Bentsi-Enchill said that the split was mutually agreed. The statement went on to say that membership in Dentons’ Africa Group had “provided significant benefits for the firm,” adding that: “The firm has however been undertaking a strategic review of its existing relationships with other law firms and has decided to maintain its independent status, and to consider other options.”

Meanwhile, Dentons has already concluded a new alliance agreement with JLD & MB Legal Consultancy in Ghana, a firm with five partners and another 10 lawyers, and expertise in energy, natural resources, telecoms and aviation.
