The low retention for Autumn follows an even lower spring retention rate, when two out of five trainees were retained (40%).
A spokesperson for the firm pointed to the bright side when discussing the retention figures, saying: ”We are delighted that ten of our trainees will take up a permanent position at the firm". Not forgetting, of course, to acknowledge the remainder of the group: "Some of our trainees will be leaving us in order to pursue opportunities outside the firm and we wish them all the very best for the future".
