Osborne Clark elects new UK managing partner
Osborne Clark held a special partners meeting yesterday to elect its new UK managing partner, corporate and commercial head Ray Berg. Berg has been with Osborne Clark since 2001 and began his role as a practice head in January 2013. Berg's term is four years and will begin on 1 January 2015.
Berg replaces Simon Beswick, who has served three terms for the past 12 years as UK managing partner. Beswick was named global CEO in 2012 and he will continue in that capacity until next summer. During Beswick's three terms, Osborne Clark has tripled its office presence, from 6 to 18 offices, and more than doubled its revenue from ca. £61m (2002-03) £142m (2013-14).
