Ropes & Gray hires K&L Gates dispute Partner in London
Ropes & Gray hired its first commercial litigation partner since opening its doors in London in 2010, bringing in partner Thomas Ross from K&L Gates. Ross was with K&L Gates as partner for more than four years. Prior to that, he was a partner at legacy firm Lawrence Graham and special counsel at Dorsey & Whitney.
Ross is known for his specialized abilities in asset management, banking and finance and pensions related disputes. He will join the business and securities litigation practice at Ropes & Gray. The hire brings the firms London partner head count to 27. As the firm has been growing recently, it has made plans to move and expand its office space later this year.
