Baker & McKenzie promotes 83 to partner

June 25, 2015 Baker & McKenzie 14] announced its latest promotion round, making up 83 partners worldwide at the firm. This year 40% of the promotions went to female associates.

Of the 83 partners made up, 34 percent were in the EMEA region – the highest of the regions, followed by Asia Pacific with 28 percent. Last year, the firm promoted 65 partners, making this year a significantly higher amount of promotions in comparison. This year, one fourth of the promotions were in the tax practice, with another roughly 20 percent in M&A.
