Trowers & Hamlins to merge with Stones Solicitors
Trowers & Hamlins is set to merge with Devon firm Stones Solicitors, taking effect next month.
Stones Solicitors will contribute 14 partners and almost £5m in revenue to the combined firm as well as 76 additional staff. It has two offices in Exeter and Devon.
The combined firm will remain Trowers & Hamlins after the merger and will total 690 staff and lawyers in six offices in the UK. The combined firm will have 130 partners amongst its total headcount and will generate £85m in revenue. Because Trowers has an existing office in Exeter, the firm will eventually consolidate to a single space there.
