White & Case partners defect in Poland
White & Case is losing four partners in Warsaw. Former disputes head Pawel Pietkiewicz is moving to Greenberg Traurig while three litigators are believed to be moving to Baker & McKenzie.
Pietkiewiczs has been with White & Case since 2011. He will lead the litigation and arbitration team at his new firm. He formerly served as office executive partner and dispute resolution head for White & Case. A former M&A local partner from White & Case, Daniel Kaczorowski, who departed the firm earlier this summer, will join Pietkiewiczs.
Local partners Łukasz Hejmej, Tomasz Manicki, and Sebastian Pabian are believed to be joining Baker & McKenzie’s Polish office. With their departure, the commercial litigation partners at White & Case will reduce by half to three partners.
