Hogan Lovells adds Baker arbitration head

December 10, 2015 The head of the arbitration practice at Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong, James Kwan, has agreed to join Hogan Lovells as an international arbitration partner. Kwan was with Baker for four years, having joined the firm from Simmons & Simmons, where he was previously partner.

Kwan's practice has centered around energy, infrastructure and engineering disputes. He has worked on behalf of clients in arbitrations all over the world, including in Asia, the United States, the Middle East and Europe. Kwan also served as a member of Baker & McKenzie's global international arbitration steering committee.
