Mishcon de Reya plucks Addleshaw insurance practice… again
Mishcon de Reya has returned to the practice it raided just over a year ago for its latest insurance hire, brining insurance litigation partner Sonia Campbell on board, less than a year after she joined the partnership at Addleshaw Goddard.
In November 2014, Mishcon lured away former Addlehsaws insurance litigation head Richard Leedham. Campbell follows Leedham after almost 15 years at Addleshaws. She joined the firm in 2001 as a managing associate and was promoted to legal director in 2011 before joining the ranks of partnership in May of last year.
Leedham’s departure paved the way for Addleshaw’s most recent partner hire, Mark Pring, to take over the leadership role. Pring came to Addleshaw Goddard in 2012 from Chadbourne & Parke.
Mishcon de Reya’s hire demonstrates the firm’s desire to grow in the insurance market. The litigation firm, in addition to focusing on insurance, has boosted its regulatory and employment practices as well.
