CMS Cameron McKenna testing new work allocation
CMS Cameron McKenna is testing a new work allocation system for its corporate associates in the UK. The new system aims to improve efficiencies in assigning work. Close to 100 associates will take part in the program.
The process for assigning work will change from the current procedure, where partners directly assign work to associates, to a new procedure, where partners will use a dedicated resource manager to distribute work. The resource manager is provided right now by consultancy firm Mason & Cook.
Ashurst and Hogan Lovells both implemented similar measures last year in an effort to improve fairness of assignments to associates.
