Pinsent Masons considers Dublin after Brexit
Pinsent Masons is considering opening a Dublin office in a potential move to establish a base in the Republic of Ireland. The firm has a current office in Belfast, led by corporate partner Paul McBride. Pinsents has not confirmed whether a Dublin office would involve any merger activity, although the firm has not ruled out this option.
A Dublin office would help the firm to respond to anticipated changes in the wake of Brexit, and would continue Pinsents’ recent international expansion efforts, which have included office openings in South Africa and Germany this year. Several firms are reportedly considering launching bases in Ireland following Britain’s vote to leave the EU.
