Ashurst to streamline integration with Project Prism

Ashurst and legacy Blake Dawson have announced plans to overhaul accounting and client systems throughout all of the firm’s international offices, including those in London and Australia. The program, known as Project Prism, is among recent integration initiatives put into place since the firms’ 2013 merger. The project is slated for completion in early 2017. Declining financial performance is one factor behind these changes. Profits per equity partner fell 19% to £603,000 in 2015/16, with turnover falling 10% to £505m. Managing partner Paul Jenkins has stated that these new systems will help Ashurst reverse the downward trend.
