DLA to slash 180 UK jobs

DLA Piper has announced that the firm will be closing a consultation in the UK, eliminating 180 jobs related to business support functions. Many of these roles will shift to the firm’s Warsaw office, and the change will impact roles in HR, finance, IT, marketing and business development, and secretarial positions. According to chief operating officer Andrew Darwin, the move is an effort to increase the firm’s global effectiveness, quality, and consistency. Redundancies are expected to affect all DLA offices in the UK.
