Priestly resigns as Shearman London tax head

Sarah Priestly has resigned from her position as Shearman & Sterling's London tax head, just a week after Mark Soundy resigned as global equity head at the firm. Prior to joining Shearman in 2013, she worked at Weil Gotshal & Manges, and was previously an associate with Allen & Overy. Priestly and Soundy are reported to be in talks with Goodwin Proctor, although neither has confirmed a new role. Goodwin has taken on several European partners from Shearman recently.
