Brussels antitrust partner exits Shearman

Trevor Soames has resigned from his position as antitrust partner at Shearman & Sterling's Brussels office after joining the firm in 2011. He is reported to be in talks with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. Quinn had also reportedly approached Shearman's Brussels office head Stephen Mavroghenis, who ultimately decided to stay with Shearman. Mavroghenis previously worked with Soames at former US firm Howrey.
