Tokyo-based Bevash to head Latham & Watkins’ Seoul office

Latham & Watkins has announced that Tokyo managing partner Joseph Bevash has been chosen to head up the firm’s new Seoul office. He will take on the Seoul position in addition to maintaining his current post in Tokyo. In order for Bevash to assume the new role, Latham received regulatory approval to set up its office in Seoul as a foreign legal consultant office. According to Bill Voge, chair and managing partner at Latham, the new office is an important part of the firm’s global expansion efforts.
