Four partners quit as KWM reworks business strategy

Four partners have resigned from King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) as the firm was set to hold a meeting today to discuss its recapitalisation strategy. The planned capital call was canceled in order for KWM partners to discuss the firm’s ongoing business strategy. The four partners who resigned include Rob Day, the firm’s former managing partner, as well as investment head Michael Halford, finance partner Jonathan Pittal, and corporate finance partner Andrew Wingfield. According to a KWM spokesperson, the resignations have prompted KWM to reassess its recapitalisation programme over the next few weeks.
