Latham promotes two in London among 27 globally

Latham & Watkins has promoted two lawyers in London within its latest promotion round, which included 27 lawyers globally. This represents half of last year’s City promotions, when the firm promoted four in London. Latham’s two promotions this year included Ekin Akar and Deborah Kirk, who both previously served as corporate associates. Akar joined Latham from a firm in Istanbul, and Kirk joined the firm in 2010 after working at Linklaters.
