Top-earning Clyde & Co member pay down 22% in 2015/16

Pay for Clyde & Co’s top earner fell by 22 per cent in 2015/16, decreasing from £1.8m to £1.4m for the year ending in April 2016. Overall salary costs increased from £155m to £179m. During the same time, Clyde & Co revenue increased by 13 per cent, with merger partner Simpson & Marwick making up £18m of the firm’s £447.3m total. Headcount grew by 354 to a total of 2,857, of which 262 were partners.
