Shearman’s London office sees 14 per cent increase in revenue

Shearman & Sterling has reported global turnover of $912m, a six per cent increase over last year’s $860.3m. The firm’s London office increased revenue by 14 per cent over 2016, with revenue coming in at $169.7m. Profit per equity partner for Shearman’s global network rose to $2.2m, an 18 per cent increase per 2016. The rise in profit per equity partner came after a decline in 2015. According to London managing partner Nick Buckworth, the growth can be credited in part to the firm’s management restructuring efforts.
