Following a contested election, capital markets partner Richard Trobman has been elected as one of two vice-chairs at Latham & Watkins. He will succeed David Gordon, who has held the position since 2011, and will hold the position alongside Ora Fisher, who is based in Silicon Valley.
Trobman works in Latham’s capital markets practice, and specializes in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), restructurings, bridge loans, and public and private securities offerings. According to Latham chair Bill Voge, Trobman has extensive experience at Latham and understands the firm’s culture, values, and strengths.
