BLP trademark team departs for Bristows

A nine-strong Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) trademark team has left the firm to join Bristows, a London firm. The team includes BLP intellectual property head Simon Clark, director Ian Gruselle, six fee-earning lawyers, and one secretary. Following the move on 30 April, BLP will no longer operate a trademark licensing and disputes practice. A firm spokesman said the practice is no longer considered a core sector for the firm, as it is not a central issue for BLP clients.
