DLA to close Tbilisi office following team departure to Dentons

DLA Piper has announced that the firm will be closing its office in Georgia following the departure of its Tbilisi team to Dentons. The closure will be the second recent downsizing in Europe for DLA, which announced earlier in the week that it will be closing its Berlin location. Otar Kipshidze and Avto Svanidze led DLA’s Tbilisi team, which is scheduled to start at Dentons in early May. According to Dentons Europe CEO Tomasz Dabrowski, the firm aims to become one of the top firms in each market where Dentons operates.
