Latham hires Olswang litigation partner Ian Felstead

Latham & Watkins continues to expand its litigation capabilities with the hire of Ian Felstead from Olswang. The move comes just a few months after Latham hired Martin Davies of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan earlier in the year. Olswang has seen a number of partner exits leading up to its merger with CMS Cameron McKenna and Nabarro, and the firm reportedly imposes restrictions on partners joining new firms. Felstead has been with Olswang since 2000, when he started as a trainee. He focuses on matters involving defamation, contempt, copyright and data protection, and privacy matters relating to media, regulatory and commercial litigation.
