DLA launches alliance in Nigeria
DLA Piper has announced plans to launch an office in Nigeria through an alliance with local firm Olajide Oyewole. The Lagos-based firm was founded in 1966 and has worked with DLA for several years. According to Andrew Darwin, DLA managing director for developing markets, the alliance is a product of the firms’ strong working relationship. DLA has announced several openings and closures in recent months. The firm has closed offices in Berlin, Tbilisi and Canberra, and recently brought on a 50-lawyer office in Lisbon after integrating with Portuguese firm ABBC.
