Sarah O’Neill to replace Simon Callander as Addleshaws general counsel

Addleshaw Goddard has named Sarah O’Neill as the firm’s new general counsel, following the departure of previous GC Simon Callander. Callander served as Addleshaws’ general counsel for two years before joining SuperGroup this month. O’Neill was promoted to the position from her previous role as deputy general counsel. Prior to joining Addleshaws in 2014 as a senior risk and compliance officer, she was a risk management lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills and previously worked as an in-house lawyer for Allen & Overy.
