Bond Dickinson merges with Womble Carlyle to create Womble Bond Dickinson
Bond Dickinson has completed its merger with Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, creating a new transatlantic firm that will operate as Womble Bond Dickinson. The new firm has £340m in combined revenues and will be a UK top 20 firm. The combined firm is set to launch on 1 October with more than 420 partners and 1,000 lawyers acrid 15 US offices and eight UK offices. Office locations will include London, Bristol, Newcastle, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Charlotte. Following the combination, each firm will continue to function as a separate autonomous partnership, but each firm will appoint four partners to lead a new transatlantic eight-member board.
