BLM to slash up to 15% of staff roles

June 13, 2017 Berrymans Lace Mawer (BLM) is seeking to reduce its staff headcount by considering cuts to various support roles. The redundancies are expected to affect up to 15% of the firm’s business support roles.

BLM has offered voluntary redundancy to more than 300 employees during a process expected to be completed by the end of June.

Senior partner Mike Brown said the firm included a review of support teams across its offices as part of an overall business improvement programme. The redundancies are a result of increased investment in technology and an agile work system.
