DLA Piper hit by malware attack

DLA Piper is one of many companies affected by the recent global malware attack, which has crippled the firm’s email and landline phone networks. The firm is now in its second day of shut-down due to the incident. The attack targeted multiple companies worldwide, including advertising agency WPP, shipping company Maersk, the Ukrainian central bank, and oil company Rosneft. As DLA continues to respond to the cyber attack, the firm has announced that its lawyers will be available on their mobile phones until the communication networks are back in operation.
