Clifford Chance revenue reaches £1.54bn
Clifford Chance has announced revenue of £1.54bn for the 2016/17 year, marking an 11 per cent increase from last year’s figure of £1.38bn.
The firm also posted increases in average profit per equity partner (PEP) and profit over the previous year. Profit rose by 23 per cent from £494m to £554m, while PEP rose by the same percentage, increasing from £1.23m to £1.375m.
Managing partner Matthew Layton said the firm’s London office, which saw 4 per cent growth, grew more than expected, considering currency fluctuation and geopolitical factors.
