Shepherd & Wedderburn turnover dips 5 per cent
Scottish firm Shepherd & Wedderburn has posted its latest financial results, reporting a 5 per cent drop in revenue, which decreased from £53m in 2015/16 to £50.5m in 2016/17. Chief executive Stephen Gibb attributed the dip to a year of investment in IT and client projects. Net profit decreased by 6 per cent from £15.2m to £14.3m, while average profit per equity partner (PEP) was down 11.5 per cent from £389,000 to £344,000. The number of full equity partners increased from 39 to 41.4 according to a full-time equivalent basis, while total headcount decreased from 500 to 462.
