Eversheds Sutherland opens in Düsseldorf following acquisition

Eversheds Sutherland has announced the launch of its fourth office in Germany. The firm now operates a base in Düsseldorf after having acquired local firm Grooterhorst & Partners. Grooterhorst partners Johannes Grooterhorst, Marc Christian Schwencke and Ralf-Thomas Wittman have joined Eversheds, and will lead an 11-lawyer team that will initially specialize in insurance and real estate. The firm plans to eventually expand the Düsseldorf location to offer full-service capabilities.
