Hogan Lovells hires Jonathan Baird of Freshfields
Hogan Lovells has hired Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer corporate partner Jonathan Baird, who specialized in investment funds while at the firm. Baird will also join the investment funds practice at Hogan Lovells, which hired Adam Tope from Greenberg Traurig earlier in the year.
According to Hogan Lovells investment funds co-head Nick Holman, the investment funds group has done well so far in 2017. Baird has previously worked opposite Hogan Lovells on a few occasions, and noted that he found the firm’s funds capabilities impressive.
