SIAC launches new representative office in India

The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has launched a new office in Gujarat, India. The location will serve as the second representative office for SIAC, which already operates one location in India. The Gujarat office was established following an agreement between the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Limited (GIFTCL), GIFT SEZ Ltd and SIAC. Through the agreement, SIAC will take part in dispute resolution proceedings for GIFT companies. SIAC CEO Lim Seok Hui said the arrangement will also allow SIAC to further develop its existing relationships within India’s business and legal communities.
