Bertie Mehigan exits Howse Williams Bowers in Hong Kong to launch firm

Bertie Mehigan has left his position as a foreign lawyer at Hong Kong firm Howse Williams Bowers to start his own firm, which will be called Mehigan LLP. Mehigan’s new firm will advise clients on restructuring and insolvency matters related to emerging markets and transactions. The new firm will also include former HWB colleagues Darinne Ko, who was also a registered foreign lawyer at the firm, and Anthony Wijaya, a legal assistant. Mehigan has also brought on Edwin Chua, who previously worked at Dentons Rodyk, a firm based in Singapore.
