Burness Paull revenue and profit flat for 2016/17
Scottish firm Burness Paull has reported its financial results for 2016/17, indicating flat revenue and profit. Turnover increased by 1%, rising from £53.3m to £53.8m, while overall profit fell by 2% from £22.5m to £22m. Average profit per equity partner (PEP) was also relatively flat, coming in at £453,000 for 2016/17, compared to £451,000 for 2015/16. Burness Paull chairman Philip Rodney said the 2016/17 financial year was bumpy for the economy in Scotland overall. He also mentioned that he is pleased with the firm’s results given the economic climate of the past year.
