Ashurst hires three-strong Bakers team in Germany

Ashurst has hired a partner and two associates from the finance and banking group of Baker McKenzie’s German arm. The team is led by Martin Kaiser, who serves as banking and finance head for Bakers in Germany. He has been with the firm for 13 years. Joining along with Kaiser are two associates, Sahra Demirbilek and Stephan Lehnen. The new hires follow a wave of departures from Ashurst’s German offices over the past few years. A number of partners have departed for firms including Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Goodwin Procter.
