A&O NQs receive pay raise to £81K

Allen & Overy has announced pay raises for trainees, newly-qualified (NQ) lawyers, and associates. Trainees have received a 4.2 per cent increase to £42,000, while NQ salaries have been raised by 3.1 per cent to £81,000. Associates who have one year of post-qualification experience (1PQE) will now receive salaries of £92,000, and salaries for those with two years of post-qualification experience (2PQE) now stands at £104,500. According to the firm, increases apply to trainees who qualified in September 2017, and went into effect as of 1 May.
