Gay associate who sued Sullivan joins Clifford Chance

The ex-Sullivan & Cromwell associate who brought a highly-publicised sexual orientation discrimination suit against his former firm has been hired by Clifford Chance. Aaron Charney will join the magic circle law firm's New York office as an M&A associate, a CC spokesman said, adding that Charney has a "terrific reputation.
