Wikborg Rein lawyer hired by Simonsen Vogt Wiig as a partner in Singapore

Maritime lawyer Torgeir Willumsen has been hired by Norwegian firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig as a partner in the firm’s Singapore office. He previously served as a senior lawyer at the Singapore location Wikborg Rein, which is headquartered in Oslo. Willumsen specializes in contentious and non-contentious maritime law matters, including sale, purchase, leasing, and financing of vessels, marine and energy insurance and casualty, shipbuilding, and offshore construction. He joined Wikborg Rein in 2006 as an associate, and has also worked in the firm’s Japan office.
