Nike assistant GC departs for Bakers

Nike assistant general counsel for customs and international trade Jon Cowley has been hired by Baker McKenzie. He joins the firm’s Hong Kong office, where he will be a partner in the international commercial and trade group. Cowley spent five years at Nike, where he focused on import and export matters relating to customs, export controls, sanctions, anti-boycott, and free trade agreements. He previously worked as an associate at the Hong Kong office of Bakers, in addition to working at KPMG and EY.
