BLP and Bryan Cave merger represents step forward in gender diversity

The planned merger between Berwin Leighton Paisner and Bryan Cave represents a potential milestone in gender diversity. If the merger is completed, it will be the first instance in which both companies in a transatlantic merger are led by women. BLP is currently led by Lisa Mayhew, and the firm has established a target of 30 per cent women in its partnership by 2018. Bryan Cave is led by Therese Pritchard, who has held her position since 2014.
