Irish firms make headway on gender diversity

According to the latest European 100 report from The Lawyer, the proportion of women in European partnerships has continued to increase throughout the past year, although the rate of increase has dropped. In Ireland, all five firms from the country represented in the Euro 100 are within the top 10 ranking for gender diversity. William Fry is the top Irish firm in terms of women in partnership, with 36.3 per cent female partners. Mason Hayes & Curran’s partnership includes 35 per cent women, while Matheson has 33.8 per cent female partners. Women represent 32.2 per cent of partners at A&L Goodbody and 31.9 per cent at Arthur Cox.
