Stefan Riegler leaves post as Vienna managing partner at Baker McKenzie

Stefan Riegler is slated to step down from his post as managing partner of Baker McKenzie’s Vienna office, just four months after taking on the position. He will return to Wolf-Theiss, where he previously worked before joining Bakers in 2005. According to Erik Steger, managing partner at Wolf-Theiss, the hire of Riegler will help boost the firm’s dispute resolution practice and its Vienna office overall. Riegler is the latest in a string of departures from Bakers’ European offices.
