Sedgwick to close firm following partner exits
US-based Sedgwick is slated to close the firm next year, following a string of partner departures over the past year. The closure will affect six London-based partners out of a total of more than 80 partners. Over the past year, partners have left Sedgwick for a number of firms, including Kennedys, Drinker Biddle & Reath, and a spin-off firm launched by former Sedgwick partners. The closure is planned for January of 2018.
