DAC hires seven from Sedgwick in London
As US firm Sedgwick is slated for closure, DAC Beachcroft has brought on seven of the firm’s lawyers in London. The team includes insurance partners Mark Kendall and Duncan Strachan, plus four additional lawyers and a support staff member who focuses on legal and language matters. Both Kendall and Strachan have experience with the Latin American legal market, which represents a strategic area of growth for DAC Beachcroft. David Pollitt, managing partner at DAC, said the new hires will help the firm boost its offerings in London and Latin America.
