BLP hires Mayer Brown partner in Hong Kong

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has boosted its Hong Kong office with the hire of Mark Stevens, a real estate partner from Mayer Brown. Stevens spent almost 15 years at Mayer Brown JSM, from which BLP also hired partner Andrew MacGeoch in 2017. Stevens said he looks forward to joining BLP at a time when M&A and private equity transactions are becoming more complex. MacGeoch said Stevens brings valuable expertise that will help strengthen the firm’s real estate offerings in Asia.
