Hogan Lovells names Leopold von Gerlach as new global chair
Hogan Lovells has announced that Leopold von Gerlach has been named as the firm’s next global chair, replacing Nicholas Cheffings. He is slated to take on the position as of May 2018 for a three-year term. Von Gerlach currently serves as a litigation partner in Hogan Lovells’ Hamburg office, and will be the firm’s first German global chair. He has been on the firm’s board since 2014, and will lead the 12-member board in the new role.
