Tilleke & Gibbins hires new director of Cambodia from Kelvin Chia Partnership
Kelvin Chia Partnership (KCP) out of Singapore. Jay Cohen, formerly of KCP’s Phnom Penh office, will be taking over for John E. King, who held the position for 15 years and retired at the end of last year.
Cohen specializes in inbound and outbound investments, and has been working in Singapore, Myanmar, and Cambodia for the last ten years. In addition to his work with facilitating investment processes, he also works in the energy industry, with matters such as licensing, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure.
After starting his career in South Korea in 2003, Cohen was hired by the Singapore KCP branch in 2008. After nine years with the firm, he is departing as a partner and country manager.
