Fieldfisher acquires Dentons’ UK IP head
Fieldfisher has hired John Linneker from Dentons after 13 years at the international juggernaut, where he had most recently served as the firm’s UK head of IP.
Linneker notes that he was enticed by Fieldfisher’s prominent IP practice line, which with 60 lawyers generating more than £13m in turnover last year.
Linneker’s experience includes 15 years at Taylor Wessing’s successful IP practice, before joining Dentons in 2005 and becoming global chair of the firm’s trade mark practice. His work includes several recent high-profile cases, including the Formula 1 Lotus brand ownership dispute between Malaysia Racing and Lotus Sports Cars.
